We're Having A....

Well,
It's official we found the sex of our baby. We are having a little boy, and we could not be more thrilled! The baby will be named after his dad Anthony Eugene Beckles III, and we will call him "Trey" since he is the third. I will be posting a few new sonogram pictures shortly.

Second Trimester

Well, we are now entering the 2nd trimester of this pregnancy. Anthony and I went to the doctor today for a routine check up. It turns out that our baby is extremely active and was unwilling to let the doctor hear his or her heartbeat consistently. We ended up having an ultrasound done to make sure that our little one was doing well, and wow this baby is quite the mover! We are grateful for a good report and healthy baby. We will go back in four weeks to find out the sex of the baby, if he or she is willing to cooperate :). Here are a few pictures and video of today's ultrasound.

Hearing Baby's Heart Beat

Yesterday Anthony and I got to hear our little baby's heart beating for the very first time. It was probably one of the best days of my life. I knew there was a baby growing inside of me, but hearing its heart beat was overwhelming. There is a little life there that is growing and changing everyday. God is so good, and we are very blessed. The doctor gave us a great report, please continue to pray for our little one. We love you all!
